  1. I feel like I don't have eye strain anymore. Maybe because it's OLED?
  2. The 16 hour refresh pixel cleaner is annoying but as long as you don't power off your monitor, this isn't a problem.
  3. Was hard reading text at first but now it feels normal.
  4. No DP 2.1. If it did, it would help with the black screen alt tab issue (I believe so anyways).
  5. Turning off G-sync/VBR gets rid of low fps (30 fps or less) black areas dimming flicker. I just deal with it.
I don't regret buying this monitor besides the g-sync issue and DP 2.1.

If you're asking then 240 hz is probably just fine for your use case. How many games that you play does your pc run at more than 240 hz?

IMO this, but you'd have to research the differences between QD-OLED and new Tandem W-OLED. Still pretty different from one another. I have this monitor and love it.

If you plan to use the display in a dark room, the difference is minimal. However, in a room with ambient light, I would choose the LG. QD-OLED offers better color performance, but its black levels are affected by ambient light — for me, that's a deal breaker. W-OLED (used by LG) maintains deep, inky blacks even in bright environments, delivering the expected OLED experience. So, while QD-OLED wins on color, W-OLED wins on consistent black levels in a lit room. Plus, the LG model represents the latest tech in this category. I went with the LG.

Do I keep my Dell S2716DG or this? I don't game as much. Honestly mostly browsing, watching videos, photo editing, and thinking about getting into video editing. There's nothing really wrong with my Dell, but this one seems appealing with the OLED.

OLED is a major upgrade and worth it, it's probably my favorite thing I've ever upgraded

OLED is best for gaming. For productivity work you need to keep in mind the possibility of burn in (honestly not a huge issue) and reduced text clarity. I think your priority would be color accuracy for the photo and video editing, and this monitor isn't ideal in that regard.
