These are lower end models. I love the premium SwissGear stuff, but their low end stuff is not great.

Which models are the premium ones?

Usually the ones where the Swiss guard emblem is encased/embossed in a capsule of black plastic. An outer emblem. There's only like one or two premium backpacks where they didn't do this, and this is not one of them.

Should I return my Swissgear 2769 for one of the Wenger/premium models?

That actually has what I'm talking about. Notice the black and silver swooshes around the red logo. That's one of the few premium ScanSmart backpacks. The outer emblem varies, but that certainly has the tell as there is one.

Yeah, just popped in to say I f'n *love* this daypack for short trips. Lots of org in the front flap, sling-carry side zippered top pouch for quick access to stuff (pickpocket safety notwithstanding), and a reasonable interior with no "filler" or cushioning for the tablet section because, let's face it, we're all using folios or screen protectors these days.

It's on the small side, so if you're going to be away for multiple days you'll have at most a minimal, single change of clothes and no spare shoes, but if you either truly travel light, or this is your bonus bag with a full size travel pack, it's got a lot going for it.
