Slick_Drone's calculation is a bit off, the math was 100%/70% (1080p), which is 43% faster.
Because of the date of the techpowerup and the performance in comparison to 5070 Ti, you can tell these benchmarks are the older ones. The card actually benches equal to or slightly faster than the 5070 Ti, after some driver updates ~4 months ago.
While the gains numbers are better than the one poster, it's probably true no need to upgrade unless you have very old card or moving up in resolution.
I have a 6800xt, 6900xt, 7900xtx and 9700xt and I have a hard time telling any differences
$600 for what 15% increase over my $6,800 XD yeah right
It's more like 30-40% faster and you get FSR4 which is leaps and bounds better FSR2 or FSR3. I actually had 3600/6800xt setup that I upgraded to 9900x/9070xt it was worth it especially for BF6.
Is this a decent deal if I pulled the trigger now? Or should I wait until Black Friday to see if anything better pops up? I'm in the market for a new GPU and looking around this price range +/- $100.

So even better. That dude is such a downer all the time, he thinks it's still 2017.

For me ends up being $400+ $50 tax after the paypal and other cashback. YMMV though on the cashback offers.
