It's $129 and can cut wood safely compared to circular saw, cheaper than buying laminate flooring cutter and still has a lot more uses and it's $129 comes with a battery and charger that works with $30-$50 drill/impact driver/wrench/etc. It's a very versatile ecosystem and excellent for most home owners. If you are a pro, you should by pro machines anyway and not be looking at $129 "toy" deals.

Toy company? I have 15 Ryobi tools which I have used to build a deck, make repairs on my house and use for drilling, cutting drywall, I can go on. There is nothing wrong with Ryobi. Take your gas guzzling pick up truck mentality elsewhere.

Wow. This seems like a great price for a miter saw. It's worth noting that it's only 7 1/2", but this would still do all the stuff I've used my miter saw for.

I'm not sure cordless is vital, since these aren't items you walk around the house with or hold in the air.

Does not slide, does not bevel, made by a toy company, only 7 inches? Do I need to go on?

Wrong! It does bevel. Try again.

Hard to impossible to beat the price of this but does have its limitations. It lists the maximum crosscut of 4 1/4" for 2" thick (1.5") material. Being battery power makes it portable plus it is very light weight.
Personally, I would not buy this because it cannot due large crosscuts. It would be fine for molding; just have to dial it in.

It would have been super nice when I was building my kids treehouse in the back 40.

I wish it had the dual AC plug combo support like a few other Ryobi items have. Does this allow the bevel/tilt cut to be either direction "double-bevel"? I couldn't quite tell from the HD page.

This is a fairly limited tool. A 7 1/4 sliding miter saw would be more ideal.

You can't cut a decking board, and it can't cut standard LVP.

You can cut wider flooring with it by going cut-flip-cut

I own this and it is a waste of money. Get the 10" slider. If you really want one, I can sell mine (7 1/4 slider) to you cheaply for $75 + shipping. And mine is a slider.

It's weird, if you read reviews on HD, lots of complaining about cut depth, which would be the same for (non-sliding) saw of this size.
One person even implied that it was some type of scam, because it said 7-1/4" blade, but it can't cut a 4"x4". 🤔😄
