You can pay $5 a month directly to Hulu and remove ads on this plan. I do this. Also, YouTube Premium Family is pretty cheap if you have 5 people to share it with. Each gets their own account so no more shared algorithm.
How to you pay the $5 to Hulu. Im still getting the bundle free and wonder if it will screw that up if I try and add commercial free for $5

Login to hulu.com.
Go to Account
Click on 'Manage Plan'

You should see an option to add on Hulu Premium for $5. Choose that option and it will be added on. You can turn it off again when you don't want it.

Have had it for years with the Verizon Disney/Hulu/ESPN bundle with no problems.

Is it possible to stack this with Amex platinum entertainment credit?
Yeah, I've been doing it for over a year. You pay the extra for the ad-free directly to Hulu and then you get the $7 Amex credit.

Did you do anything differently or did you just go to the Verizon app and sign up from there?

I have this plan through Verizon.

Hulu w/ Ads is unbearable to watch any content. Multiple ads that ruins the flow. Beware.

Netflix, Amazon Prime — every streaming platform is loaded with ads now. To avoid them, you practically need the higher-tier plan. Honestly, Disney, Netflix, and Amazon could afford to make these channels free, gain another 100 million users, and still make billions from ads.

We currently pay $15 a month, for the Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ bundle. But our Disney+ is Premium, so there are no ads. This is an add one to our Verizon Wireless Unlimited Welcome Plan.

Disney+ w/ Ads, is it just 2-3 30 second ads prior to a movie or show, or is it throughout, like Amazon Prime or other ad-supported streaming?

Ads can pop up in the middle of programming and interrupt for minutes at a time. Really angers my two-year-old when he's getting his Toy Story fix. We're unfortunately going back to the ad-free bundle option with ESPN Unlimited.

Yeah the fact that streaming services just slap ads in random places in shows is almost worse than the ads themselves. Shows of old used to be made with commercial spots in mind. The scenes naturally ended where a commercial was set to start. On these streaming services with ads you'll be mid-scene with something interesting happening and then BAM it's ad time and after 5 minutes you're just thrust back into the same scene. No natural flow whatsoever. This especially takes you out of action or horror movies.
No ads on Disney or Hulu if you block ads on your router

I have this Netflix & HBO package for $10. W ads. I had a choice to upgrade either channel at extra. I upgraded Netflix to no ads so I pay $18 a month for both.

I tried Hulu with ads for a year and it was miserable.
There are almost as many ads as the content that you're trying to watch.

FYI. Disney Plus and ESPN (Hulu about to be absorbed by Disney) are junk quality. I have a great Internet connection (direct wired to my TV) and the frame rate is terrible. It's not even 30 on sports, lots of dropped frames. They look like they're doing the robot bouncing a ball around. Awful compared to YouTube TVs 60fps.

Man I miss when verizon gave Hulu and Disney as part of the plan, then they screwed people out of the legacy plans so they could get them to pay $10 each for the same things. I was with them for so long but they finally burned through their "loyalty" when they decided their customers should pay $30-40 more per month for less benefits.

sorry yeah still bitter. haha

What happens if I'm no longer a Verizon customer? Can I keep the $10 per month for Google? AI?

Be aware if you are on a grandfathered plan like myself they want you to update your plan first. Currently on an Apple One Plan and works just fine. Keep my plan.
