I bought this from Meh for the same price sometime last year or the year before (LSU variety not that it mattered to me). Thing is awesome and the price is right, but note that it's a neoprene surface not your traditional fake turf if it matters to you, and it comes creased to holy hell so it needs to be flattened before using. The very end never loses that curl; in my case I have something heavy (a small dumbbell) to keep it flat.

How did you flatten it?

I used an iron with steam and went over it several times.

Heads up, these collegiate ones are not the same price as the regular one. They're listed on Amazon for $39.99, so that original MSRP isn't correct.

PGA Tour Superstore lists the "green grass" version of it for $130 (on sale from $180!). Golf Galaxy has it for $100. So MSRP was in that range (which is appropriate for a putting mat of this quality - I got one last year through Meh).

I left mine out in the sun for a few hours on a hot day. The problem is the end - the end never really gives up that bit of flex. I've got a small dumbbell on it to this day, which is kind of a pain but for the price I can't complain.

Nah these are cheaper - the putting surface isn't anywhere similar to turf or a putting green the way the more expensive model is. I don't think it makes much of a difference; at the end of the day if you're actually playing golf the situation is going to be totally different from the level, windless, artificial surface that either offers. This is just for kicks and to practice in ideal conditions.
