Nope! Best bet is to save those credits for something else, do a Kindle Unlimited free trial, borrow the books, and then add the audible version for only a few dollars. I think they were like $2-$4 each when I did it.

Was not eligible. Told a chat agent I saw a promo I wasn't eligible for and they responded 5 minutes later that they signed me up with a 3 month free trial.

When you buy an audiobook, how do you receive it? Do you have to listen to it on Amazon software/app, or can you download the file/s and listen with a regular mp3 player?

For what it's worth:
I tried this last night from my mobile phone and it did not let me sign up.

I tried again this morning on my laptop before planning to delete the email notification and it let me right in for the promo rate and the $20 audible credit.

If you got denied last night, might be worth trying again today or later this week! :>

Audible stopped allowing gifting a handful of years ago as people were just making new trials and then gifting their primary account the books.

Yeah, you use the Audible app to play it, which is what I do. While you can download the audio files, it is DRM-protected. However, there are apps out there that can connect with your Audible account and verify your own the titles to convert it into your chosen file type (like I do with .mp3) to backup/listen on another device.

Sounds like I need to try the chat as well. Just regular amazon help chat or is there a particular audible one?
