I need a 55" in this $200 and under range but the only thing I've found is the Insignia Fire TV.

At $200, I wouldn't expect much from this TV nor for it to last that long.

These are similar but this one is a little better but does not include the extra warranty

Hisense QD65NF
Hisense QD6QF
The Hisense QD6QF is extremely similar to the TV it replaces, the Hisense QD65NF. The biggest difference between the two is processing and overall calibration, as the newer QD6QF is more accurate out of the box, it tracks the PQ EOTF in HDR better, and it has better upscaling. The newer model also adds VRR support to help reduce tearing, but it has limited effectiveness since it can only go to 60Hz at 4k, so there's still tearing if the frame rate drops.

I got a 40" Hisense and it's worked better than expected. It's better than TCL and the Roku OS is great.

It depends. For text (like documents) not so much , for photos, video, web page tabs you should be fine.

What's wrong with the tv that makes it bad for simple text? That would make it bad for almost anything if it blurs simple black an white text. I admit when hisense first came out I bought one and it was like a moving Picasso painting. Never took a tv back before. never seen such a bad tv. Will never buy again cause I wouldn't trust they went from the worst to the best in 2 years.
