Asrock motherboards are still killing AM5 Chips which has been an on going story for months now, check out the asrock subreddit to read people's stories about the issues including B650 and and all AM5 chips, not just X3D.

the issues are from X3D chips, on mostly X870e mobos.
knowing all of this, i still bought an X870e Taichi to pair with my 9950X3D because of PCIE lane allocations. been running hard since March 2025. if you're scared go to church, warranty exists.
I have this motherboard and a NZXT B650e N7 (which Asrock makes the board), both running 7800X3D's and have been going strong for almost 2 years. This might just be x870 and b850 motherboards affecting the X3D chips but so far in my experience theyve been fine. In for 1 more to run a 8700G that i recently acquired, Just perform bios updates and latest chipset drivers from AMD and you'll be solid.
Been running this board with a 9800X3D since the 9800X3D released - fully overclocked with pbo/expo enabled, frequency override to +200, and curve optimizer to -30. No issues for me.
