EDIT: This deal has been hit hard and there are stock issues on the 10" (and the 7-1/4" as well). The deal is scheduled to run till January so just keep watch out there and set a stock notification on the Lowe's website. Good luck!

Right now Lowe's is running their on going buy Bosch batteries and get free tools with a deal I've not seen before. Usually the "free gift" tool is bland like a drill or angle grinder. With some regularity they'll offer the Profactor 7-1/4 battery miter saw. But right now they are offering the 10" battery miter saw.

Personally I did a pack of the batteries a few weeks ago and got the 7-1/4 and love it. It's got some nice feature, and an 8AH battery (not included but one that I had) lasts forever with it. But I would have preferred this deal but it wasn't offered at the time --- Bosch or Lowe's decided to add it to the deal midstream which I've not seen before. So I bought another pack of batteries and got a 10" big brother for my smaller one and will just marketplace all the extra batteries to get the saws free (since I have tons of Bosch batteries already)

Community Reviews

Bosch's 18 volt battery kit deal is really a way to land the 10 inch dual bevel sliding miter saw, and the saw itself is the standout for cut capacity, left and right beveling, and solid performance on 4 amp hour batteries. The community also notes it can be a major upgrade, with clean cuts and enough power for regular shop use. The catch is inventory, since the saw often disappears by zip code, store, or checkout flow, and shipping can add steep fees or fail entirely. A practical pick if you can catch stock and navigate the cart quirks.

Was able to find a 10" miter saw by doing what everyone else suggested and find it at a random store in UT. I was able to get it shipped to my house at no extra cost. There might be more 10" miter saws expected on 11/20. I saw that date briefly when searching on the website but it's just a guess.
how far are you from that store? and what was zip code of the store? thanks

Found one but like you I got the 7 1/4 but the reviews on the 10inch are not great..
I own the AC powered version of this saw and it is not remarkable. The dust collection is not great (I know it's not a Festool but it's still bad), blade changing is more difficult than it needs to be, like the other reviews the LED guide on mine has never been accurate and while it's adjustable, it's not enough on my saw to fix the problem. The threaded clamps are terrible on mine because they spray painted the threads and I should have just taken a metal grinding brush to them and removed all of that crap first, but I didn't and now it's all gummed up.

For the sale price, it's hard to beat. But at MSRP? lol, no. I will not replace mine with a like model.

The handle on my old corded dewalt 10" snapped off a few weeks back and I was able to jump on this deal. I picked mine up yesterday and returned the batteries. I have a m18 to Bosch adapter and there's enough clearance for the m18 5ah batteries. It seems to work just fine. One of the complaints in the reviews was how loud it is. They apparently never heard a saw like my old dewalt. For ~$125 I'm very happy with my new saw. Figured I'd chime in just in case someone married to another battery line was on the fence.

How are you guys still finding this in stock? I spent like 2 hrs today searching various states online, and was NOT able to find none.

Edit: forgot the word "NOT" :-)

Yea, wish it was the GLIDE version. Are the Profactor stuff an economy line from Bosche? $125 for a name brand 10" sliding miter is hard to beat, even if it isn't Bosche's best.

I thought about returning the batteries but they're only $55. 8Ah total + charger for $55, could probably sell it and at least breakeven.

Is a 10-inch screen better for home use, or a 7-inch one?

The 10" saw is substantially bigger and heavier, you have to get creative with the a 7" saw for some bigger cuts.
