Right now Lowe's is running their on going buy Bosch batteries and get free tools with a deal I've not seen before. Usually the "free gift" tool is bland like a drill or angle grinder. With some regularity they'll offer the Profactor 7-1/4 battery miter saw. But right now they are offering the 10" battery miter saw.

Personally I did a pack of the batteries a few weeks ago and got the 7-1/4 and love it. It's got some nice feature, and an 8AH battery (not included but one that I had) lasts forever with it. But I would have preferred this deal but it wasn't offered at the time --- Bosch or Lowe's decided to add it to the deal midstream which I've not seen before. So I bought another pack of batteries and got a 10" big brother for my smaller one and will just marketplace all the extra batteries to get the saws free (since I have tons of Bosch batteries already)

When going through the free tool section, it won't allow me to add either miter saw. Did you do this deal in store?

I did it online for in store pickup. Since the batteries are fairly well in stock, I went to the product page for the 10" saw, found a store that had it, and chose pickup there. Should be able to grab it in the morning.

On the page it says the deal runs till January so there's plenty of opportunity. I just found a store that had one for pickup and chose that option to get around the out of stock on shipping.

Ok. In my area, both bare tool saws are not available for online order or in store pick up. This might be a YMMV deal.

It would auto select the drill, but I was able to change to either saw in the cart. But when you hit update, it says "free gift unavailable. Remove to check out."

Able to score 2 in the Pittsburgh area. Iffy reviews but for the price, it'll work just fine.

If anyone in the Pittsburgh area wants my 2nd one, make me an offer. I'll be around this weekend, I'm east of Pittsburgh in the Murrysville area.

Both the 7 1/4" and 10" miter saw are part of the free tool deal but finding a location that have them in stock is finding a needle in a haystack. I had to drive an hour for the 7 1/4" version. I could not find the 10" anywhere within 150 miles from me.

I don't. 2 stores, both an hour in different directions from me each had 1 in stock. I ordered both just in case one of them got canceled. Only 1 in inventory is a high probability of getting canceled. As it turns out, both were available. I'm keeping 1, happy to pass on the deal on the 2nd one and cover some gas money. Get off your assuming horse.
