It's a bit disappointing that the price only went down by 50. I was expecting this would go down to 250 or less.

I have the 245 that I bought second hand for $85. Is it worth upgrading? My only gripe is the mapping/route functionality.

It depends on how you use your watch and what features you think are missing from the 245. Despite the small model number difference, the 265 is quite a bit better than the 245. See these comparison pages for more:
