I have run several kgs of rapid petg from elegoo, one of them was pretty tangled and caused issues but all the rest were perfect.

I found it beginner-friendly with mine, but dried it in a filament dryer before printing and printed it from the dryer.

This is from the best affordable PETG you can get. For a newbie I'd suggest messing around with PLA first as it's a bit easier. If using PETG, like the other poster mentioned, you should make sure it's dry 1st or it can lead to major headaches.

IMO, PETG is not the way to start if you want a good time as a beginner, I recommend you cut you teeth on PLA first then start messing with PETG.

That said, this is good quality PETG.
