$395 sounds like Invicta level marketing lol. I think I'd rather have a Duro with twice the depth rating.

Haven't been keeping up with watch collecting lately but this seems like an amazing price for a 42mm dive watch with the Japanese Miyota movement.

Yes the retail price is crazy. They are a "fashion" watch brand that pretends to be swiss but is actually from NYC or something, the watches are assembled in china. They have a history of over inflating their MSRP to make it seem like a good deal, and their watches are perpetually on sale. Like those going out of business stores in NYC that has been going out of business for 20 years

Here is a quartz w/ metal bracelet in blue for 9 bucks more but why?

Miyota movements are nice. For $60 it's not a bad watch at all.

It's a Miyota 2315 quartz. Not a bad movement, but it isn't one of the pricey 9xxx automatic ones. If it was, I'd buy a bunch just for the movements included. You can get the 2315 for like $10 on Eslinger.

I highly doubt the movement is actually correct. I have an automatic sturling and it's cool but the movement isn't all that accurate

The miyota 2315 quartz movement in this watch can be bought for $4.00 ~ $5.00 on Ali Express. This watch is just Chinese junk from a junk brand.
