I have the 3S and it's a good mouse, but personally I much prefer the razer Naga Trinity over it. The scroll wheel on the 3S just doesn't feel right to me at all, especially on Mac, and it's much harder to press without accidentally scrolling up or down, meaning you grow to avoid using the middle press altogether when precision matters. Plus the Naga Trinity's middle wheel tilts left and right and performs the side scroll wheel function much better and, to me, more ergonomically than the 3S.
Razer software is annoying, but logi options+ is similarly annoying as well, plus it's currently affected by the electron bug on macOS (Tahoe) and has been since Tahoe's release without Logitech providing a simple update to fix it for months now, causing the gpu to constantly re-render windows and leading to excessive memory usage and thermal issues, and causing the fan to spin up as a result and stay on for as long as the Mac has power. Not good.
