I have these with 32in monitors and game systems in my basement I leave out the middle bar and it's the perfect hight for floor couches and the kids can rearrange based on if they need to see each other screen or not.

I set one of these up for my wife with a 58" tv on it. It's surprisingly stable, but I put 2 20lb dumbbells on the base for some peace of mind. It's awkward to get out the door, but it's manageable if you actually move it by the tv instead of the stand
