Also the connection isn't very stable when running with the phone in the pocket.

Most comfortable earbuds I've ever had. Sound quality is great considering they're not all up in my ear canal. They sound even better when I use the custom eq on the app.

Requires an app to use most functions and requires a lot of unecessary access. Without the app the headset is not that great.

Something to consider if privacy is of concern with a chinese app.

Uhhhh what features require an app? I use these all the time and have never even considered installing an app.

Not an audiophile but got 3 last time for me and kids. Getting another for myself. Comfortable and I found I like open ear vs the in-ear buds (bp1).

Just got them last week. Sound is pretty good considering they are open ear style. Connectivity is horrible, keeps beeping and booping while listening or during phone calls, then now the app won't even detect the earbuds anymore. Don't know what the deal is definitely going back.

Are these different than bone conduction ones like Shokz?

if you wanna go the slightly nasty route, you can buy them refurbished on ebay for like 25ish for the whites, and 29 for the other colors, 1 or 2 year warranty. Course, since refurbished they've been in someones ear, but they are IP68 soo you can just clean them a little more aggresively.

They need an app for EQ, but I just use poweramp equalizer for that. They are great for listening to music while being aware of your surrounding, which is a big reason I don't always use my noise cancelling earbuds they block out too much noise.

I posted the $24.80 refurbished deal a few days ago:

https://slickdeals.net/f/18928396-baseus-mc1-pro-open-ear-earbuds-refurb-24-80-fs-from-ebay?v=1

Just got mine today. Compared to the base model (BC1) which I also have, MC1 is definitely better:
  • Better build quality for both earbuds and case. In comparison, BC1 feels a bit flimsy.
  • Fits more securely on the ears.
  • More accurate sound whereas BC1 focuses primarily on boosting bass.
  • Supports LDAP.
  • Mono mode (hearing both channels) when wearing one earbud at a time . BC1 does not do that.

Have the MC1 non pro. Love them. They definitely need to be worn correctly to be facing your ear canal (for me it's very very low on the ears and they point right in). I use them more than the Sony XM5 earbuds.
