Walmart: 16" 1920 x 1200 - Costco: 15.6" 1920 x 1080
I think the Walmart one is better.
Community Reviews
This Vivobook 16 stands out as a lightweight 16 inch Windows laptop with a 1920 by 1200 display, 300 nit brightness, USB charging, and a 42 watt hour battery. The 3.75 pound weight and Intel Core i7, 16GB RAM, and 512GB SSD make it look well balanced for everyday use. Compared with a Costco version, the Walmart model is described as having the larger screen and brighter panel, while Costco offers a 1TB SSD, touchscreen, and longer return and warranty coverage. The USB C port appears to support charging but not DisplayPort, and the price has also shown higher than the deal tag.
The 16-inch display option is described as brighter at about 300 nits and non-touch.
The RAM can reportedly be upgraded using available SODIMMs up to 24GB.
The laptop battery is listed as 42Wh with a 3-cell Li-ion configuration.
USB-C charging support is indicated by the model box number and a lightning-bolt icon near USB-C.
USB-C power delivery reportedly does not include DisplayPort support, so external monitors may require HDMI.
The listing and documentation may conflict on maximum memory, with Walmart stating 16GB max while ASUS documentation lists 24GB.
USB-C power delivery is disputed, with one comment saying it does not appear to have USB-C power delivery.
The deal price reportedly increases from $399 to $469 for at least one viewer.

Screen: For a laptop, A 16" 300 nits non-touch over a 15.6" 250 nits touch is a no-brainer.
SSD: 512GB vs. 1TB - Daughter will never need the additional space for high school. Otherwise, easy enough to upgrade.
Referencing the model number on the box: F1605VA-WS74 and seeing the tiny "lightening bolt" next to the USB-C port... It supports USB charging.
Edit: For the inquiring minds... DDR4 RAM (8GB + 8GB On Board)

Do you need to use them on the laptop constantly, or very often?
I've never needed to use one on my laptops. Some have one built in, and some don't. I have one to plug into my PC that I think costs $5-$10. Mostly micro-SD format on the ones that have it built in now.
Are you a professional photographer who works in the field and needs one constantly, and hate to have an accessory sticking out? Then it might be a deal breaker for you. You would be in the rare minority for whom it matters that much.
