42mm S10 has a 290mAh battery and 46mm S10 has a 327mAh battery

46mm S11 has a 363mAh battery (haven't been able to find a teardown for the 42mm S11 yet, but based on their phrasing in the release event it wouldn't be unreasonable to assume 42mm S11 got a similar 10% bump like the 46mm)

the physical battery capacity did increase a decent amount (nearly 10%!), but the "all-day" battery life the S11 claims is also due in part to Apple tweaking how they test battery runtime of one full discharge cycle. you can see a more detailed description below:

anecdotally, I've noticed effectively 0 functional battery runtime difference on my personal 46mm S10 and friends with S11s. both will last a full day with probably ~30ish% charge left with AOD on, 2-3 hours of combined cardio and traditional strength training workout tracking
if battery life is important to you, I recommend getting an Ultra or you can disable loud volume notifications, handwashing detection, background app refresh, AOD, and some other features
tldr; S11 battery improvement looks generational on paper, but is really an incremental-at-best improvement irl conditions and usage

I'd prefer to be able to trade mine in for a discount just to get better battery life. These things pretty much have done the same thing for many generations.
- T‑Mobile is expected to begin phasing out LTE as early as 2026.
- By 2028, most of its LTE network will be converted to 5G; only a very narrow LTE channel (about 5 MHz) may remain.
- According to reports, T‑Mobile plans to keep that minimal LTE support (mainly for legacy / IoT devices) until 2035.
So, T-Mobile isn't stopping LTE immediately, but its LTE capacity will be significantly reduced over the next few years.Sign up for a Slickdeals account to remove this ad.
But when it was delivered I didn't notice that the tape was tampered with and the watch, band and charger were all missing but the watch packaging was left in the box (ripped). I placed a claim with Walmart and waiting to hear back.
Question for the greater group, the imei number is on the packaging and such, should this be reported to Apple? Other thoughts? Guess I'm lucky that this is the first time any of my packages have been messed with.
