The Black Vivoactive 5 is also $169 https://www.samsclub.com/ip/13866419621

Unfortunately, the Orchid is still $199 if you were looking for that color option.

The forerunner or a Fitbit charge 6 if the user mainly wants it for their runs and won't really be wearing it otherwise?

The GPS Signal on the Forerunner will be better for more accurate distance tracking.

DCRainmaker does good reviews of sport watches, but he has a slight tilt toward more advanced athletes, much like any hyper specific reviewer.

I really wanna ditch the Fitbit/Google environment. Does the Vivoactive 5 have good health/sleep metrics? I like getting warnings about heartrate, stuff like that.

I have a vivoactive 5. I think it has good metrics, I also use the built in trianing plans for half marathons and it does a good job for that. It also has a ton of sports tracking like pickleball, running, biking, golf, etc.

I'm using the Vivoactive 4 (after replacing the 3 Music). I'm debating going for a deal like this (although I am not a Sam's Club member) or skipping the 5 and paying the extra money for the new version 6....

Bryan_05 already answered you, but I want to chime in to agree with him.I have a Charge 5 and was planning on using it for my runs. It's disappointing. Wouldn't get again.I came here thinking of going back with a cheap Forerunner like the 55.

Yes, Garmin is more accurate compared to FitBit. Garmin has its own app.

Any way to get this without a Sam's club membership? There's no Sam's club in our area so it doesn't make sense to get a membership just for this watch.

I have a vivo active 5 that I wear pretty much daily. It holds a charge for about 5-6days on average. I can not link my Spotify to it. It must be bugged because it didnt work with my vivo active 3 either. Its not a bad watch. Tracks plenty of exercises. Sleep tracker is way off. I received this as a gift. I wouldnt spend my own $170* on this, but ofc I am grateful and I wear it because it does everything I need. There just has to be better options if you're looking to drop coin
