Realize you can get this sometimes for $50 on FB Marketplace used only once (or sometimes not used at all). But people have been listing the $900 amazon listing [amazon.com] as if thats the real price and asking for $150+ lol. So i bought the bullet and bought one (since a friend borrowed mine and their family loved it so much, they demanded to keep it lol).
I just wanted to rave about this fryer. Can cook a 20lb turkey in an hour.
Just make sure you pat it down from all water inside/outside after defrosting before putting it in (and use long gloves and a facemask to lower the turkey in for maximum safety in case of some splashback lowering it in). Just cook under a porch outside or in garage with the door open (so you dont get the peanut oil smell inside your house). its very bottom-heavy so it won't tip over like alot of the vertical cylindrical fryers.
