The Ryzen 5500 has dropped to $50 a few times recently so I have a feeling we'll see it at that price again later this month.

While I think this is a good deal, if you need wifi you may be better off getting the MSI B550M PRO-VDH WiFi on sale for 79.99 which will save you from needing to source your own wifi card : http://www.amazon.com/MSI-B550M-P...B089D1YG11

The MSI board does include Wi-Fi but it's only Wi-Fi-5

It's a solid entry level CPU for a budget system. You can pair it with a used GPU up to about $200 and build a full PC for around $600. If you can spend a bit more, the 5600 is better for gaming, especially in competitive games where you are trying to maximize FPS.

It depends on what you're used to. It won't typically limit you as much as the GPU on a build in this price range.

There's an internal type-c header if your case has a port, but there's no type-c on the back.

Does have 2 USB 3.0 internal headers, the adapter is fairly cheap - it's what I plan on doing
