With the imminent stick drift issues these have, they're pretty much disposable controllers at this point. Prices are beginning to reflect that.
I have 3 stock Xbox controllers, including 1 w a Series S in the guest room that almost never got used. ALL 3 developed stick drift!
I just spent ~$90 for a PowerA Fusion Pro wireless Xbox controller (open box) and it is on another level in build quality, battery life, and optional RGB effects. Has Hall Effect sensors that won't develop stick drift as the stock Xbox controllers do.
I wanted to love the Razer Wolverine V3 Pro wireless controller for $135 via Woot, but battery life left much to be desired, so I returned it. It would last about half the time on a charge as the PowerA Fusion Pro.
I've had a green version of this controller for about 3 years and so far no stick drift (knock on wood.) I use it to play Halo at least once a week. I thought people were crazy regarding stick drift with Wiimotes, but I barley used mine (Pro controller instead) and eventually got it. This is common across controllers.

The florescent green one? Mine has been bulletproof as well, oddly
