Works best with a 240mm side-intake AIO + RTX 5080 or 5090 FE series 2-slot so you can still have bottom intake fans.
Mine's practically silent with a Ryzen 5900X + 5080 FE.. especially undervolting the 5080 so it runs cool & quiet.

There's free 3d print models to mount HP elitedesk hardware into this case. Those are readily accessible and cheap for decent specs on eBay. Combined with this case, you could make a much nicer looking (and cooler running) desktop.

as everyone else said, this is an amazing case. i have 9800x3d and rtx3070 in it and its rock solid with absolutely no stability or temperature issues.
at this price, bought another one even though i have no use for it right now. just as a spare if my current one is somehow damaged or i need to build a PC for someone else.

Why?
- Top-mounted AIO is technically the most 'proper' mounting position since it helps keep air bubbles out of the pump/block, but your AIO (in this case) will ingest hot air from your graphics card & PSU, therefore, not as good for cooling like a side-intake AIO
- PCIE risers can introduce problems, not really a fan of vertical mounting either
- The only thing its internal layout is really 'better' for is using an AIO with the glass panel in place
Just my two cents.Sign up for a Slickdeals account to remove this ad.
However, PLEASE bear in mind if this is your first time building a PC, I don't recommend starting with this case and a mini-itx. I would strongly recommend building a non-mini-itx PC first so you get used to it, and then get into a SFFPC. It can get tricky with the cable management.
Also, I got this case in white 3 years ago for $40. For current times, $50 is a good price.
