found this review, which seems thorough and unbiased. Spoiler- they are lukewarm about it. https://www.thesolarlab.com/revie...lfp-review

Thanks for that link. I stopped when I got to this:"The E2400 comes with a 700W proprietary solar input plug that only works with Pecron solar panels"
Not totally true. It comes with an adapter to plug in any solar from portable to house panels. I got a pecron and tested myself. If you're handy, then you can ghetto rig your own adapter. Plenty on Amazon if you just want to order an adapter

I see what you're saying. Ecoflow is one of the better brands as well. And they're selling thousands of refurbs on ebay from every product they have at any given time. 🙄 I've had 3 Delta 2 models with extra batteries. And they've all ran flawless so far.

While no doubt every brand has its defective models. I'm suspecting a lot of these products were never actually defective. Just returned items. Possibly just new and never opened at all. I've heard in the past that companies would dump extra inventory new items as refurbished, factory blemished, open box and so on... this is a way for them to dump inventory and get around price agreements made with various retailers.

Not positive that's what's happening, but just a thought...
I literally just received a refurbed Elite 100 V2 and it was faulty on arrival (would not charge; when power connected it would say 100 but when unplugged it would say 0). It's like Bluetti didn't even look at the unit and just sent it back out. It even had a return shipping label inside from the previous owner.

would you elaborate more on this? you used AC/DC out to jump start your vehicle? Don't you need another device to go between this and your car? TIA

I own one. Wouldn't do it again. It wouldn't start motors w its 2400w rating that my old, as in 6 years old, 2000w bluetti ran without hesitation. So the true output is nothing like stated, even with surge. Also, the mppt blew out from momentarily getting up to the max voltage, no protection built in, non repairable as far as I can see. the usb DC outs all quit, completely. I would buy a 3600 despite all this, but wouldn't touch another 2400.

It's never been near my vehicle. that is a description of failed DC outputs, and the solar charge controller blew and will not charge with solar. Not sure why I got a downvote for a truthful account of ownership. perhaps someone who bought one and doesn't want to entertain the possibilities.

Do not pay with paypal at the moment. They are processing credit card purchases through paypal as cash transactions, there is a long thread on reddit.
Problem since 11/11 at least. IF you bought something recently with paypal from AE please check your credit card charges, make AE investigate or have your bank refund.

That sucks! That's the other side of this problem. Just sending an item back out refurbished, without even touching it. I've heard of some small crappy companies doing this, or maybe 3rd party refurbished products. But I would have thought better of Bluetti...

Pecron is both a bang for buck brand as well as hit or miss. Bought one last year, ended up having to return it because of issues with the unit, it'd trip on a load that took nothing. By that I mean a significantly weaker Anker was, and still is, handling the load like a champ. Bonus, the Anker is quiet whereas this one's loud.
Very solid customer service though, that's a huge improvement from years past. If you get a lemon, sucks, start talking to CS. But if you get a good one, they're hard to beat for price relative to performance.
