Wolverine Spencer waterproof hiking boots stand out as a budget waterproof option with extra wide sizes and free shipping. The boots have held up for years in Michigan winter, keeping feet dry through slush, water, and snow, and the wide fit helps for broader feet. The main cautions are possible stitching and build quality concerns, plus some reports of wet feet despite the waterproof label. They also sound warm and sweaty for year round wear, so they fit cold, wet conditions best.
Winter workers who spend hours outside in slush and snow, because the boots can keep feet dry and still hold up after years of daily use.
People with extra-wide feet who struggle to find roomy hiking boots, because extra wide sizes are available.
Cold-weather hikers who want waterproof boots for frigid conditions, because the waterproof build can feel hot and sweaty in warm weather.
Warm-weather hikers who need breathable boots for year-round wear, because the waterproof build can feel hot and sweaty.
Buyers who are worried about long-term durability, because the build quality may not match the steep discount and stitching issues have been mentioned.
Shoppers who need dependable waterproofing in wet grass or snowy streets, because the waterproof label can still leave feet wet.

Thanks. So I should side step down? It definitely looks better than sitting on my but and inching down. I've watched youtube videos of people using hiking poles as a third leg and intentionally starting a controlled slide.
