This deal caught my eye, since I already have TS10 and HD10 that are also 14500 mini lights from wurkkos. The battery is 900mah and doesn't last nearly as long as 18650, but you can't beat the tiny form factor and how great it feels to have a tiny headlamp vs my convoy h3 that uses 21700.

Lowest price I've seen for this light and I bought 2 to get free shipping.

Also quite interesting review on BLF with info on the emitters since Wurkkos didn't list them. Lattice power KH 5W 5000K, red LEDs is lattice power HFL1-R.

Plus, confirmation that the light is regulated whether you use a standard AA or the included li-ion 14500. What this means in practice, is that output doesnt go down as voltage of battery decreases.

While the CRI is good at around 90, the tint can be less pleasant than say Nichia 519a. Most people probably won't notice, but this is something that enthusiasts like myself will.

Finally, flashing red mode is fantastic when riding a bike. I wish more flashlights had this option for visibility. My wurkkos HD03 has quite bad bike flasher mode with blue and red lights, which is illegal and unusable in US. Just red flash at 30 lumens is more bright than most rear lamps for bikes.

I bought a Wukkos flashlight last year on SD. Spent like $28 bucks for the light and it was considered "slick" but it wasn't

The light worked for about 2 mins then stopped working entirely. These are pieces of junk and made and shipped from China. am sorry to say that Wukkos sucks!

Now, if you're looking to waste money on nothing this may be slick. I was so disappointed that I had spent all that $ on a light that only worked for like I said 2 mins.

Did you contact their CS or Terry directly? They are known for being responsive and have built a very solid reputation on r/flashlight.

If you just left your vent at "man, I had a negative experience and advice caution", that would be one thing. But you have to go as far as saying that their flashlights are waste of money. The reddit crowd are quite picky and not exactly easy to please, so explain exactly how they always recommend wurkkos as one of the best options for budget quality flashlight. Others should take your comment with not just a grain of salt, but with a salt mine, because you didn't even mention trying to get your issue fixed with wurkkos.

I have 7 lights from them, 3 lights from Convoy, and 5 Sofirns. Only light I ever had significant issue with was LED burning on Convoy H3. My little fleet of wurkkos has been chugging happily with daily use.

Of course the mileage of others may be different like you proved. You also proved that you don't understand how customer service and advocating for yourself looks like with getting a replacement.

+$2.40@ duty + $3.99 shipping = 22.38 for one (v. 29.99 through Amazon, shipped from the US) or 36.78 for two. $22.38 feels less tempting than the headline 15.99.

I saw $16.49 via Amazon in late September - shipped from the US and eligible for Prime shipping.

I got one of these (for $16.49), and I really like having a built-in charger for the lithium battery and the flexibility to use alkaline batteries if needed. It's a sweet little light.

I just have a wurkkos hd03 and ts10, but this has not been my experience. Have not had issues with either. They aren't as good as my emisars, but they're still very good and significantly cheaper.
