Some great deals (D3 sauce pan, 8 qt stock pot, 12-in fry pan) and some I'd avoid (paella pan, D3 nonstick). I also highly recommend the 2.5 qt saucier [homeandcooksales.com] for $85.

As always, I recommend checking out the All-Clad 2nd Sale Pots & Pans FAQ sticky thread over on the product forum. I've tried to include all of the common questions about this sale and about the differences between the All-Clad product lines, what to buy, what to avoid, etc.

And if you are looking for a whole set, I would wait a couple of weeks. Last year, Costco had the All-Clad D3 13-piece set discounted to $550 starting Nov 24, as I recall. Keep an eye out for that if you want a full set.

You can buy a cheaper and lighter and more authentic paella pan IMO. Getting a stainless steel one feels super bougie.

Genuine question - what's the secret to their search function? I can't find that 2.5 qt saucier without your direct link. I've tried "saucier" "2.5" "2.5-qt". They all somehow miss that one product.

That's funny because I was just looking for a saucier and it wasn't there like a few days ago when I checked because I didn't want to pay $140-150 for a Made In one.

Convince me to buy a saucier (won't be hard... I want one but have no real use).

Their search function seems broken not working correctly. If u scroll thru all the items you'll see it under d3 section

I got the 2.5qt saucier not too long ago. Super happy with having it in the arsenal. I didn't want a limited-purpose 1-2qt tiny saucepan just for, like, heating up cans of beans or warming butter or something. And my 3-qt saucepan was both too big for, and not good at (because of straight sides) accurately reducing and easily pouring out small amounts of sauces/jus/roux/simple syrups/vinegar brines/etc etc.
Only knock on it is that I got a 2nd quality one, and this is the first time in all the things I've bought from here that actually had a noticable difference other than blemishes - the rim is under finished/not fully rolled, so it's a bit sharp. Still like it though

It depends on the product. I believe they make their bonded stainless in the US, but some of their products are made in China. I think the webpages for the product say where theyre made at the bottom.

Paella pans should be carbon steel, preferably thicker carbon steel. Second choice cast iron. Stainless steel won't get you the same level of socarrat (crispy bottom that releases easily) that defines a good paella, and it's less forgiving on a grill (which is where paella should be cooked). Oh, and a great carbon steel paella pan is less than half this price.

That 13-piece set is a very well put-together set and a terrific bargain if you need a full set. If I had my druthers, I'd choose sauciers over sauce pans, but beggars can't be choosers. Even better: Last year they put it on sale for $550 around Nov 24, which was the best deal ever (that wasn't a price mistake) for a big All-Clad set. They sold out really fast. If you need a full set, I would keep a close eye out for that deal to come back in the next 2 weeks.
