looks like there is a typo in deal details "$2239.99 - $30 when you apply promo code", but this is a good deal for 4k gaming monitor

Oh sh*t, and this monitor has an IPS panel too!!! I've been meaning to upgrade my current setup to an affordably priced 4K 27" monitor since I'm still stuck at 1440p and now I think I have myself a winner...

Looks like it says brightness is only 250 hut HDR ready? Also not seeing what the warranty is from the product page.

In case anyone is wondering, it's 144hz at 4k and 288hz at 1080P. I thought it was 288hz at 4k :-p. But frankly, I am unsure if I can discern any difference once it is past 90hz.

I believe MSI has a 3 year warranty on their monitors.

In competitive games like fortnite the biggest jump is 60 to 120/144 . 240 isnt that noticeable from 120/144.
There is quite a bit of difference in how fast you see builds place and recognizing enemy builds and reacting therefore. But if you aren't seeing a difference, it may be due to the game.

Seems good based on specs, but might want to check out some reviews. Found this discussion: https://www.reddit.com/r/Monitors...14_review/

Looks like MSI has a 3 year burn in warranty on OLEDs, but their warranty page doesn't have any info for this monitor (unless you have serial number) since it might differs by region.

A burn-in warranty wouldn't be applicable since you're only dealing w/ an IPS panel in this situation. In other news: I'm counting down to 11/23.

Yep. That's what I said in my post - "but their warranty page doesn't have any info for this monitor".

For me, 4k for gaming on a 27 inch is just overkill. On a 32 inch it seems right.
