Seems good based on specs, but might want to check out some reviews. Found this discussion: https://www.reddit.com/r/Monitors...14_review/

A burn-in warranty wouldn't be applicable since you're only dealing w/ an IPS panel in this situation. In other news: I'm counting down to 11/23.
So what happens today?

For me, 4k for gaming on a 27 inch is just overkill. On a 32 inch it seems right.
nah it actually looks excellent on 27. this is what i thought too before when i got a 32. i later returned it to get 27 because of how big 32 felt in fps games. but bf 6 looks crispy as hell.

You talking a/b the PayPal offer? If so, when I bought the monitor I attempted to do the "Pay for 4" option, but for whatever reason, it wouldn't accept my credit card to auto-draft my 3x requested monthly payments and after 3x tries, PayPal would no longer allow me to qualify for "Pay for 4" so I went w/ the "Pay monthly" option since that was all that was left to be eligible for the PP promo w/ the intention of paying the $217.24 in full after receiving the 20% cashback which should arrive on my PP account w/in 2 weeks after my purchase according to the eligibility policy under the terms and conditions [paypal.com].

Was considering the MSI but ended up going with the $200 Dell 27" S2725QS because I mainly use for desktop and don't NEED the fastest refresh.

Got this. Initial settings are pretty dim, but got it looking much better with the below settings. I'm no expert though on panels though so if anyone else has recommendations please share. Also installed the driver from MSI's website which looks to install the SDR color profile. G Sync control panel says display is not validated but allows to turn on at 4k144 (I am using a hdmi 2.1 cable). Some pics in HDR seemed noticeably better but it seems way less plug and play, so I haven't messed with it too much. And I think the HDCR does a good job on its own.
Gaming > Game Mode > User
> Night Vision > A.I.
Professional > Pro Mode > Movie / Turn on HDCR
Biggest questions for me is confirming it has LFC (hopping those dips to 24 are doubled to 48, but no documentation on it).

The HDR shows up on windows when I turn on the option. It's not the brightest panel also windows HDR support is broken so it doesn't really matter anyways. Also they hid the fact that this monitor has 2 watts speakers built in. It seems like MSI didn't want to pay for any certification for this model

I just got it, pretty sick for 2 bills. If it was 3 bills I would be pissed because of the HDR, but 2 bills with 144hz and 4k and vrr? Pretty sick.
