Also I'm coming from a chest freezer that has served us well (manually defrost) but I'm looking to go with an upright this time that is frost free. It's a pain the rear as you get older trying to find food in a chest freezer and manually defrosting it isn't all that great either, lol). I have read some posts that mention and frost free freezers can cause stuff to get freezer burn faster and the unit themselves tend to burn out quicker than chest freezer but not sure if that's fact or not? I know one thing, I'm sure these are built like the one's purchased 10-20 years ago
Is it ok to haul this hisense on it's back on side laying down in the bed of a pickup truck? If so, it seems worth the hassle of picking it up for savings of $100+
