So I wonder if this promotion will work if you buy a $5 or more denomination gift card off Google Play using your linked PayPal?
Anyone want to try this and be a guinea pig? If it doesn't work you don't really have much to lose because you still get the gift card.

that'll take 3-5 days but you should have received an email with subject "1,000 Reward Points are on their way" and content like below.
