Yes. I just bought a $10 Google play gift card and instantly got an email about PayPal rewards.

Did you get an email telling you your points were ready to save or did they just show up. My points are still 0 under rewards.

It was my first purchase of $5+ but second purchase. Offer showed as expiring in 1 hour after purchasing. Two days later I checked, now see that the offer disappeared in Rewards section and no points pending. What happened here?

Never mind, received an email about the points arriving after checking.

Has anyone tried making a purchase that was not their first $5+ and confirmed whether it works or not?

I was struggling to find an app to buy so reading that this deal worked on Google Play gift cards made it easy. Just bought one and got a "1,000 Reward Points are on their way" email from PayPal a minute later.

BF had it in his account. I noticed that once he added paypal as payment in Google Play, that the offer in his Paypal account now had a countdown timer giving him 1 hour to do the deal.
I didn't know that the deal required you to do it within 1 hour from adding paypal as a payment method. Now I'm wondering if I'll even get my 1,000 pts since it says it expired and I know I didn't make my purchase within an hour.

Just do a search for Gift cards where you search for apps and it will bring a banner up to click on to get gift cards.
