There are much better versions of this kind of thing. This particular one has extremely poor filtration, and is a pain to clean after a while. ALL of them need to be cleaned at least once a week, or the pumping mechanism becomes a breeding ground for black mold.

This Veken is the best one we tried (we've done 4 or 5 before settling on this one):

Unfortunately it's not available now. I'm not sure if the other Veken's are made with good filtration and without wires in the tank like this Veken that used induction to turn the circulation wheel. There are a LOT of bad designs out there for these pet water fountains. Veken was head and shoulders above the others.

I found a similar one on sale for 22$ off that page you linked. Looks like no wires. Aesthetically similar. Hopefully it works.

how is plastic easier to clean than stainless Steele> been using this one https://www.aliexpress.us/item/32...pt=glo2usa If you place the pump in backward it cuts the light. cleaning is easy.

Easy to clean, easy to fill, a nice flow, and holds a lot of water. If you want to save money on filters, find a cheap filter for aquariums to use for the main filter and just cut it to size. Been using the same one since 03/24 and bought an additional one in January.
