Are there any safety pins? I don't squat or bench without them anymore.

do yourself a favor and buy a real rack, these things are dangerous when you lift close to your max

I previously owned this. If you get spotter arms, you might start to get into the range of $150-$200, which is where you can get a full cage.

If your short on cash and want to squat, and have bumpers, this will do. Learn how to bail safely with bumpers.

I'd recommend putting weight on the front so the rack doesn't move/ fall forward when you rerack the weight.

I bought this rack six months ago because it was cheap and I could just pick it up from my local Walmart. I ordered the spotter arms for $30 and the plate holder attachment for another $100 from Amazon. I've used this rack three times a week for the last 6 months.

300lbs is the most I have squatted using this rack. The rack had no trouble supporting 300lbs.

I'm not sure I would trust the spotter arms to catch more than 225lbs. They work great for catching a failed bench press. I haven't had the nerve to do squats to failure with these spotter arms because they are kind of small.

The plate holders add some stability to the rack and they provide a convenient place to store the plates. I recommend adding the plate holder, but it cost more than the rack.

I think this is a good rack for someone that is just getting into lifting and isn't sure it's something they will like. I don't currently have plans to replace this rack, but I also don't plan on squatting more than 300lbs.
