These have been lying around in my nearby store for months now. No one is buying. This needs 2 batteries. Attach 2 batteries with 5Ah capacity each and you will really need strong muscles to use this trimmer.

Yeah electric string trimmer are great for what they were originally meant to be: small, light, portable, easy to store (folding models).

These newer "high end" ones try to take on gas trimmers and lost most of the reason to buy one. I use my dewalt 20v one to do some light work around my landscape lights so I dont tear anything up, but my Stihl FS91R does the heavy lifting for the rest of the property.

I agree. I have the regular m18 fuel trimmer with one 6.0 battery. Usually whatever arm I used to hold it up will be sore the next day. 2 batteries is just too much weight

Are you guys adjusting the handle to balance it? With the battery(s) vs bare tool? It makes a big difference if you simply slapped it on and left it top heavy.

As for this particular trimmer. Good price, but prob not necessary for most. The single battery one is plenty adequate for most typical yards. The extra power and run time with this isn't much benefit over the added weight if you don't really need it.
