not sure if this is a deal to be honest
the 4080 super performs like 5070 TI in raw power, which has been around 750 or cheaper NEW, not to mention it support DLSS 4.

Id probably get a 5070 ti instead. Roughly the same performance and price but with newer features and its a brand new card

Better off just getting a 5070 Ti if you're in the market for a brand new NVIDIA GPU and you have the budget for it.

Not worth it IMO, 9070 XT at MSRP looks like a better choice - https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=F_60PSYQdYA

Unless you want to do video encoding and run local AI in addition to gaming.

Why exactly? The 4080 Super is ~20% faster in ray tracing and 7% faster in rasterization. https://www.techpowerup.com/revie...ro/37.html

4080 Super also has more codecs and does CUDA so anyone doing rendering, encoding, AI compute, etc will have vastly better performance in that as well.
They basically are the same price at this price point (unless you live near a microcenter) so why would you not just get the better one?

Just remember, a GPU generation that is THREE YEARS OLD tomorrow is still over $700 because consumers are willing to pay over $700.

Nvenc encoding is only good for streaming while playing. If you want something to look nice it's hard to beat pure CPU encoding. Intel's quicksync is a close second. Nvenc gives everything that Vaseline vision.
