The Apple Watch Ultra 2 is being discussed as a solid certified preowned option, but the main takeaway is pricing. The Woot price of $529 is repeatedly compared unfavorably with lower alternatives, including Best Buy refurbs around $399, Costco clearance at $449.97, Amazon at $465, and a new Costco purchase for $450. Woot watches have had good results, but this listing is viewed as expensive for an older Ultra 2. A better value may be available if local stock turns up elsewhere.
Shoppers who want a newer Apple Watch Ultra 2 at a lower price, because Costco clearance and local stock searches surfaced new units around $450.
People comparing refurbished listings across retailers, because similar Ultra 2 refurbs were found for $399 at Best Buy and $465 at Amazon.
Buyers comfortable with certified preowned wearables, because Woot watches have worked out well and the unit is still a current Ultra 2 model.
Buyers who need the lowest available Ultra 2 price, because comparable new or refurbished units were found around $399 to $465 elsewhere.
Shoppers expecting a standout bargain, because this certified preowned price was called too high for an older Ultra 2.
