These are for everyday use earbuds for the average user, definitely not for audiophiles, and not expected at this price point. These make great gifts. It's extremely small and light but durable and the battery lasts at least a month of casual use and the overall build quality is pretty good and doesn't have that cheap plastic feel that you find in this price point. I use these for calls and the quality is on the higher-end of bluetooth earbuds.
It's difficult to find something better at the sub-$30 price point with the excellent call quality. At $16, these are the best bang for your buck and can still compete with $30-$50 earbuds or some at higher price points.

I absolutely love the form factor for this case. Dropping the case doesn't let the case open and send the buds flying in random directions like every other buds I've had.
I took them on the plane for ANC. Had a little trouble with takeoff, which is excusable given the amount of noise. Once we were airborne, they worked well. The second one was needed for an international flight running ANC. As each one wore down to 10%, I switched them back and forth to let them charge from the case.
These are worth it, even at full price.
The sound quality is not bad for the price. Just can't keep them in stable enough ;(
