We have had a 3 for a couple years. We picked up a 3S a month ago. I didn't think it would bother me that much but the 3S lenses suck compared to the 3. The adjustability(lens spacing and distance from the lenses to your eyes) on the 3S is also more difficult.

We are going to return it and get a refurb 3 from Meta on eBay when they have a promo code again.

I believe the last couple eBay sales were around $350-$360 after discount.

Still significantly more than a $200 3S but I had paid $300 for our 3S. I returned it last night. If you are new to VR, the 3S is still pretty good but once you're used to the lenses in the 3, it's hard to go back.
