480 Mbps is USB 2.0 and is rather slow by modern standards.
I have a set of these cables and they are fine for charging purposes. The data transfer is USB 2.0, but does work for basic PC/MacOS connection. Just set your expectations correctly.
If you need faster data speeds, you'll probably need a more expensive and shorter (3ft/1m) cable that is either USB 4 or USB 3.2 in speed.

Good enough for most stuff. 2.0 transfer speed is standard. Getting faster transfer speed will cost more.
Saying "it's standard" is not helpful without giving additional context. If you're using this cable for external hard drives or SSDs, this will cripple the transfer speed. For this use case it's most definitely below "standard," since just about every external drive has had at least USB 3.0 / 5Gbps transfer rates for many years.
