But how is it better nowadays? Didn't they implement some limitations the last few years? Or is the limitations on coverage via their credit card?

it's been better compared to other major retailers like walmart, amazon, etc. you get 90 day returns and extended 2yr manufacture's warranty, as long as it's purchased online or in-store regardless of payment method

They have mentioned on their product page about 2nd year warranty and don't think its specific to credit card

What's nice is you can extend the 2 year warranty + 3 year Allstate for an extra $100 bucks.
$850 for 5 years complete coverage and never have to baby it, work it like a mule. Then 5 years from now unload it on ebay for around $300 bucks. That's a deal.
