I use my old 5 and 10W power adapters. Keeps the battery lifespan longer, and charges fast enough for me.

Unlike the thumbnail suggests, the video states at min mark 2:00 that their slow charge group is 18W vs 120W. An iphone 12 will not charge faster than 20W regardless of the charger. The only conclusion is 18W charging degrades similar to 20W charging. Unfortunately, they didn't test 5W and cannot say it is the same.

They did that for the android group not the iPhone group

You would need at least an iPhone 13 or better to benefit from a faster charger than this one. This 20 watt still enables fast charge on any model newer than the iPhone 13 and then the max charge rate is 27 watt until you get to an iPhone 16 or newer. The only Apple iPhone that would take full benefit of a 40 watt charger is the iPhone 17 models. This charger @ $10 is still a very good deal.

That was for Android, not for iPhone. If you look at the charging bricks for the iPhone, they use the 5W for slow and this 20W (in the deal) for the fast charging. Take a look at 1:09.

This is a decent deal, but there are GaN 30w chargers for this price that are smaller and faster.
