The 5080 itself was going for this price at launch. Nice specs for the price.

Anyone have an opinion for the value of the system minus the gpu? I'm seriously considering buying it to upgrade my 3080...

The specs are pretty underwhelming for the ram and cpu. I would research which 5080 is in this pc as well.. they vary in performance.
but for someone that can't build their own machine, you can't really go wrong with peace of mind with Lenovo.

Just don't expect it to be top line real world results in gaming

I bought it when it went down to $2132, it's been a great PC for me. Runs very cool, and I'm running LG Ultrawide 1440P 240HZ and no issue with games like CyberPunk, Ratchen n Clank, etc.
Some bloatware that you can easily remove.

Is this the one that we all were waiting for with a 5080 GPU?

microcenter does their own inhouse prebuild for around this new and open box you just have to check everyday ( of you have one by u) they use all top end ish parts and better cases and less locked down motherboards. however this isnt a "bad"price for all in warranty and pre built.
People are crazy in the comments about parts xyz. good luck buying single parts with single warranties and getting it covered or back in 6 months from a claim.
