Community Reviews

The Adizero EVO SL stands out as a lightweight, highly cushioned running shoe with a lively, responsive feel and very little joint fatigue. It also gets praise for all day comfort and a look that works well beyond runs. The main caution is stability, since the platform feels less laterally stiff than some alternatives, and fit or color preferences may push some shoppers toward other options. The app price and occasional lower promos make it especially appealing when the right size is available.

  • people shopping specifically for a deal under $100 because commenters said the $99 offer can work (especially when using the Dick's app) and that the shoes have dipped to around $90 at times for great value.

  • runners who are okay with app-only checkout because multiple commenters said the discount worked only through the Dick's app (not a web browser) and that rebuying via the app was needed to get the deal price.

  • runners who are considering the next iteration or trail option because commenters mentioned an upcoming Evo SL ATR trail version to address stability concerns (least lateral stiffness) and also noted a newer Evo SL "Woven" model with a softer, more flexible upper.

  • road runners who want a lighter, high-stack feel because the Lightstrike Pro midsole felt "super light" with "way less joint fatigue" and good cushioning/responsiveness in the commenter's experience.

  • buyers who want all-day comfort for daily wear because one commenter said the shoes are "super comfortable all day long," even though they wished for a different color.

  • people who care a lot about color because commenters said the deal is best "if you don't care about the color," and another noted they wished it came in a different color.

  • buyers who want the discount without using the Dick's app because commenters reported the offer is app-exclusive (not a web browser) and that they had to rebuy after accidentally purchasing via the web browser.

  • runners who are sensitive to stability/lateral stiffness because one commenter said the pair they own has the "least lateral stiffness" of any pair they own, which reviewers point out as a stability issue.

  • runners with wider/volume feet who need a roomier toe box because one commenter compared Megablast vs ESL and said ASICS "messed up megablast" for wider/volume feet, implying toe-box fit matters for comfort.

I know these are very hyped due to the price point

but Megablast @ $168 (SheerID) is an infinitely more fun ride than these
Where do you see it for 168?

Oh boy! Everyone has same feet shape, same gait, etc? I have both and the MB kills pinky toes even after 100 miles; ESL miles miles no pain. ASICS messed up megablast with tapered toe box for people with wider more volume feet.

This is a great deal if you don't care about the color. Otherwise, Adidas gift cards are available once in a while for 30% discount ($50 for $35).

Decent but not "slick" deal. I plan to buy a pair when they go on clearance for ≥50% off. I'm too loaded with shoes atm to be moved by a mere 33% discount for an unattractive colorway.

NOT $100 FOR ALL SIZES. Bought some mens 11.5 for $119 (same "deal" through dicks.... didn't require app).
Yes it's $100 for size 11.5 too. I just tried it.
