They are actually really good man these and the liberty are good sound quality good very responsive and cheap enough if you lose one of em that you wouldn't mind unlike losing a $200 plus air pods pro
Yeah, I have the P3i which are very similar but with a slightly inferior feature set. I suspect the sound quality is the same. I won't argue they are similar to $200 iBuds. I don't actually know and I don't really care. These get worn in the car, store, doing yardwork, etc. These (the P3is) sound great, connect fast, stay connected, and have decent range for BT.
As you say, the price is a huge motivator since that relieves concern about loss.
I'm not fond of the transparent mode because it's highly tinny, especially with music. Otherwise, I don't find them to sound 'cheap'. Crisp, yes, but I like crisp. Would love to have a reverse transparent mode which blocks voices specifically...
Anyway, pretty easy to find cheap sounding earbuds that disconnect regularly for 80% of this price on "sale."
Edit: to clarify, transparent mode is tinny when there is live music externally. In that environment it pumps up the higher frequencies of the outside music substantially.
