Decided to go ahead and grab one.

Coupon worked fine for me.
(Had checked earlier and they'd jacked up the price for a bit, but it's back to shown price.)

Any standard 1kg spool should fit regardless of brand

I wish someone made these that fit makerbot filament spools, which are narrower with a much larger diameter

I'm sure you can print out an adapter for that.

Does this dry and feed? Somewhat new to 3d printing on my flashforge

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank pb300

I've had the plus version for about a year. While it does a good job drying filament it is not built for longevity or repair. All of the electronics are in the path of the hot air. They are slowly being cooked. I can't run it at a higher temp for abs/asa anymore without it throwing an error. Pretty sure the fan is dying too. The roller system also has a lot of resistance.

I've never ordered from AliExpress but many other deal sites, what has your experience been? Relatively safe?

I have been getting bad prints and really need to dry my filaments. Will I be fine with just desiccant and ziplocks bags or do you all recommend one of these? thanks
