NordVPN Users:
I received an offer in my app for $40 off a 1-year subscription to NordProtect. I ended up turning that into a $9 one-year subscription. YMMV, but:
1. Click the link in app to be directed to their offer: $89 - $40 (with coupon code) = $49. Link was in a notification titled "Black Friday scam alert".
2. Copy coupon code. Mine was N40rdPqPcEp but that may be user-specific.
3. Separately: open a browser, search NordProtect, login, and hopefully see an offer for 1-year @ $49 with an option to add a coupon code.
4. Add aforementioned coupon code and hopefully you're also left with 1-year of NordProtect @ $9.
I like NordVPN, but not sure how NordProtect stacks against the likes of Aura, LifeLock, IdentityForce, etc. But can't beat some identity and credit (TransUnion only) monitoring plus identity theft insurance coverage for that price. Please make sure to turn off auto-renewal in account subscription settings to prevent an unwelcome surprise next year. This is my first post, so feedback appreciated.
* New York and Washington state residents may not have access to NordProtect
