Oh what a classic! Can't even guess how many hundreds if not thousands of hours I played this game as a kid. I even had an RCT website that I hosted on Geocities... Showing my age here. Im really curious how well the controls work with this being adapted to a controller instead of keyboard and mouse, anybody have any experience with controls? Are they convenient? Might pick it up to introduce my daughter

OpenRCT on PC is the way to play it, iirc it's free. Even has whacky sheet like multiplayer and high resolution support. Playing this kind of game with a dpad and sticks must be lame as hell.
As usual, gaming on the PC completely stomps all over the face of the console competition with superior software that costs less.

You have to buy the base game but the OpenRCT "update" is free.. and is awesome

Gosh I miss geocities. I had a start trek fan page. I was so proud of that thing haha
Why don't they redo this game? It was good back in the day.
It was the epitome of efficient programming to this day. Written completely assembly language, it was fast and and tight. Something that's hard to recapture in remakes without the careful attention to detail that was in the original.
