It also works on:

The 4800 doesn't really give you anything more especially for the price.
The only reason to go with 6800 is if you need the extra channels and features.
If you need the extra power, better to use the pre-outs to the speakers that need it.
No reason to pay extra for the ones that don't in my experience.

Do you know if they are using all the same Dac's in the three? I believe the 6800 uses the much better ES9017S Dac chip and the other two use the same lower end chip. Also , the 4800/6800 has a more robust monolithic amplifier construction but not sure how much that part adds to the overall AQ..... I agree that using an external on the 3800 is a very good cost effective option...
Use code 7F77XSQ7NS plus***If you have a chase card, there is 5% paypal for this QTR so that's another $60 savings by paying through paypal with you Chase card, make sure to activate it on your card first as it has to be activated on your card for it to apply!
Just want to mention that I'm pretty sure the Paypal 5% bonus for Chase is only for the month of December. You won't get the bonus for purchases this month.

Good catch!!!! I missed that....took that out of the post....too bad it's December only, first year that there is no paypal for the whole qtr from either chase or discover.. at least there is 5% cb out there

Not seeing the 5% cashback offer on my chase card.
However, Paypal is doing a 5% cashback on Buy Now Pay Later purchases
But also, there will be a special offer period starting nov 17,2025 12am pt to december 8th 2025 for 20% cashback on eligible purchases up to $1250 spent which is in 18hours from my time of posting.
It also needs activation, sign in to paypal and head to the rewards section and save the offer "Get 5% cash back on your Pay Later purchases"
so $1189 - 20% = $951.2 total
link to offer terms (https://www.paypal.com/us/campaig...ffer-terms)
in case I'm not reading it right.
Lets just hope the coupon code for denon lasts till then.😱

Excited to upgrade from my denon s760h.
Gonna use a1 evo express with it. I'm recently used it with the s760h but the audyssey is basic and not the preferable xt32.

the other 5% Cb is not from chase....... So you can double dip between that or any other cc/paypal deal..
